Fast Company has published a list of the 25 Top Jobs for 2005, based on four criteria: job growth, salary potential, education level, and room for innovation. The ranking relies on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Salary.com. It is curious that there is almost no overlap between this list and the top 25 jobs in Indeed’s Jobgeist index of most frequently occurring jobs. Most frequent occurrence is, of course, not the same thing as the ‘best’ jobs according to Fast Company’s criteria.
